Emberlynn Hanson began her performance career singing in her father’s arms on stage in Alaska.  Growing up in a very musical household, with her Nona (grandmother) in love with theatre and ballet, it was only a matter of time before she would head south to Los Angeles.

There, she participated in a children’s musical theatre troupe called ETC, a non-profit operated by Narcissa Vanderlip and Parmer Fuller.  She stayed for her sophomore year in high school, taking dance classes and performing in several plays and musicals that year.

After finishing out high school in Alaska, she moved back to Los Angeles and took dance, photography, singing, and theatre at Santa Monica College, before making a hard left turn into Accounting.  During this time she started taking Aerial Silks classes at Hollywood Aerial Arts, the premier aerial and circus training facility in Los Angeles.  Her foray into accounting would only last for a few years before she would re-ignite her passion for aerial arts, hula hooping, movement, and fitness.

Now, Emberlynn has become an Aerial Silks and Hula Hoop performer and instructor.  She is excited to be sharing the knowledge of her craft with others through teaching and enjoys seeing her students’ successes with each class.
